This sculpture is by the Norwegian artist Arne Vinje Gunnerud. It's called
"Fenrir will break free" , 1977, bronze, Notodden teacher's college.
Love this. So pretty and unique. Fenrir is a giant and fearsome wolf who was bound by the god Tyr.
Tyr lost his hand to Fenrir in the process. Fenrir is destined to escape his bondage
during the Ragnarök (endtimes) and kill the god Odin.
